Mozilla Lightning - ARGH
2008-04-08 19:33:16 I've had Lightning installed a while ago and wanted to try it again to sync my work calendar with Google Calendar and stuff. So I updated Lightning to 0.8 and got the GCal addon to be greeted by this error message:Fehlernummer: 2152333318
Beschreibung: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [mozIStorageConnection.createTable]" nsresult: "0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)" location: "JS frame :: file:///d:/Files/profiles/somename/extensions/%7Be2fda1a4-762b-4020-b5ad-a41df1933103%7D/js/calStorageCalendar.js :: anonymous :: line 855" data: no]
I didn't see any calendar stuff apart from a totally broken layout and couldn't import or create anything.
I deinstalled both addons and reinstalled them countless times, I searched through all *.js and all *.rdf and also through all the other files in the profile and thunderbird directory, but didn't come up with a solution.
Then finally I got fed up and downloaded and installed http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/sunbird/. After more searching through profile files and stuff - nothing.
When I finally copied over the newly created storage.sdb and overwrote mine - all worked like a charm.
Seem it is really hard to spit out an error message that the central calendar file is corrupted. DOH.
